a trip to karai and kuala kangsar

a trip to karai
nothing much to do about nothing... so, early in the morning we went to kuala kangsar.

my wife and my son loved laksa (Laksa is a popular spicy noodle soup from Peranakan culture also known as Baba and Nyonya, which is a merger of Chinese and Malay elements found in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.) so the best place to enjoy it... was in kuala kangsar for sure.

after having the laksa.... it was time for us to return home. On the way, i spotted a signboard shown karai

(Karai is a small town in Perak, Malaysia. This small town is located near Kuala Kangsar. One of the famous attractions is the historical Victoria Railway Bridge.)

a trip to karai
we stopped for a while, then we saw a beautiful bridge across the river and it was Victoria Railway Bridge (thanks Wiki). as i headed forward... the route ended up to a dead end just exactly below the bridge.
we saw a few men were fishing under the bridge. we were amazed with the surrounding... calm and it was a great spot for fishing indeed....
